We are pleased to announce that Youmian Textile (Nantong Youmian Haochen Textile Co., Ltd.) has been granted OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification — the internationally recognised product-safety standard for textiles tested against harmful substances. The certificate (No. SHWO 108278, issued by TESTEX, the Swiss Textile Testing Institute) covers our 100% cotton woven, bleached fabrics at Product Class II (articles with direct contact to skin) and is valid until 31 August 2027. For our hotel and hospitality partners worldwide, it provides independent, verifiable assurance that the linens they source from Youmian are tested against strict chemical-safety criteria.

What Is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100?

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a globally recognised, independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and end products at all stages of production. Certified articles are tested for harmful substances — including regulated and non-regulated substances that may be harmful to human health — against a criteria catalogue covering more than 300 parameters.

• Product-level assurance: Unlike facility- or process-level certifications, STANDARD 100 tests the finished textile product itself — each certified article is verified for chemical safety.
• Tested against 300+ harmful substances: The criteria catalogue covers azo dyes, formaldehyde, heavy metals, pesticides, chlorinated phenols, phthalates and more, with limits frequently stricter than national requirements.
• Product classes by skin contact: Class I (baby articles), Class II (articles with direct contact to skin — our certified class), Class III (articles away from skin), Class IV (furnishing materials).
• Aligned with global regulation: The test criteria support compliance with frameworks such as REACH, SVHC, POP and GB 18401, which procurement teams increasingly require in supplier qualification.

The certificate is issued by an independent OEKO-TEX member institute with no financial interest in the result, and every certificate can be verified by its number through the official OEKO-TEX label check.
